Shelf
Community guidelines
Shelf is for small groups of people who already know each other. These rules exist so it stays a place worth leaving things in.
Keep it decent
Don't use Shelf to harass, threaten, or demean anyone — inside your group or outside it. No hate speech, no sexual content involving minors, no glorifying violence, no doxxing, and no spam. Don't leave links to material that is illegal to share.
Your tools
- Report — every item and every member can be reported. Reports go to the Shelf team, not to your group, and are reviewed within a day.
- Block— hides everything a person leaves from your view, on every shelf you share. They aren't told and they stay on the shelf.
- Remove— a shelf's owner can remove anyone from it and take back invitation links at any time.
What happens to violations
Reported content that breaks these rules is disabled server-side, and repeated or serious violations end an account's access to Shelf. Because shelves are private, enforcement is deliberately conservative — but the worst content is refused automatically at the door, reported content is acted on within 24 hours, and nothing here overrides the law.
